It is second largest pet animal in the America that is why about 69 million homes have cats as a pet. In the world it is around 600 million homes as a pet.

To protect cats there are many charity in all over world. cats.org.uk writes that cat welfare charity helping more than 140000 cats and kittens every year through their networks.
